Shipping Up To Boston

Ok, the bullpen sucks, we know this. If the Sox can get that situation taken care of they’ll once again be a force in the division. It was good to see them win 2 of 3 from the Indians, the problem is we SHOULD have had a sweep.
Tonight we tee off with the Boston Red Sox and the Diceman and it’s going to be an interesting series. The BoSox have been struggling as of late and it’s a perfect time for the White Sox to stand up and play the way they’re capable of playing.
Jermaine Dye has been sulking lately, and I can partially understand that. I love JD, he’s done a lot for this team in a short time, but looking at his year overall he hasn’t exactly put up numbers that scream “sign me now” to the Sox management. I think Dye has a few more good years in him, but I am doubtful they will be with the White Sox. The Sox need to look at going younger and faster to fit into Ozzie Guillen’s mold and Dye is neither of those.
I think the next few games will really set the tone for the trading deadline and next year. We’ll see how it goes.
